Looks like we have another little flavor-snippet of information that has been taken off of the Rise of the Eldrazi Booster Box, let's read:

In their quest to uncover ancient treasures, Planeswalkers have awakened the Eldrazi - parasite titans of the aether, imprisoned on Zendikar for thousands of years. Seemingly unstoppable, these world eaters threaten all of the Multiverse and their very presence has changed everything you know about Zendikar. To survive, you'll have to be at the very top of your game. Rise of the Eldrazi is set 3 of of 3 in the Zendikar Block
.
I'll give my quick little disection of the blurb and then let you fill me in (mind you, this is coming from what I know flavor-wise based on cards. I have read the online comics but I have not read the novels). Notice, that Planeswalkers awakened, as in plural. From what I know, Nissa and Sorin both realise Eldrazi to be problems, so I doubt they would awake them to begin with. That leaves Jace and Chandra as far as known planeswalkers. Sarkhan is also known to be around Zendikar with Chandra, sort of.

What am I getting at? I had speculation before Worldwake came out, that if there was one planeswalker in Worldwake, that a fifth planeswalker would be in the ROE set. I believe that it'll be Sarkhan. Colors? Not really sure. His characteristics have shown us red or black so far, but we already have a very intense red walker from Zendikar as well as a black walker. So I'm not really sure what to think. Any of you have good theories? I'd love to hear them!

Yeah as far as Sarkhan I'm a huge fan of him still trying to get my second copy in fact.I think if he does return he will be a tri color or improved like Jace and Chandra, maybe something like "Sarkhan Dragon anscendent" or something along those lines .

I think it'll be a white planeswalker, if only to complete the cycle of planeswalkers in the Zendikar block.

I think it's gunna be a red planeswalker for sure. every colors except red has two differnt planes walkers. Chandra Nalaar and Chandra Ablaze don't count as two differen't planes walkers, you can only have one of them out on the field at any time or they cancel each other out. It makes sense to me that Sarkhan would have a red alternative form, and I think it'd also be the first planeswalker to go from multicolored to monocolored. On that note, however, why would Sarkhan awaken the Eldrazi? If anyone would Awaken them I would think Tez would as from what I've seen they will be artifact/colorless. Tez isn't there though. I wouldn't mark out the possibility of a new planeswalker coming forth. Putting aside all story and such and focusing on a pattern in planeswalkers thsi is waht I see: Each color has a planes walker that focuses on it's defining charataristics as a color. IE: for blue they have jace whom focuses on draw power, milling, and some control and red has Chandra who focuses on burning. Each color has a planes walker that focuses on a main creature type for that color. IE: Nissa focuses on elves for green and Sorin has abilities that specifically mesh well witht he current Vampyres (Taking the opponent down to 10 life and having a "drain life" ability). Each color has one human and one not human, though tez can be argued with I personally consider him to be an artifact. keeping in mind all these patterns for the other four colors and that red is still missing it's second planeswalker, I predict a goblin planeswalker, or atleast something that focuses on goblins but isn't human. Maybe a dragon planes walker. I coudl be completely off the ball though, who knows. heh.
