Getting Started

   CCG Tradepost is a concept to get away from the old-school method of internet card trading. Old methods such as posting long, hand typed "Haves" and "Wants" lists in multiple forum topics, swapping excel spreadsheets and other methods to show what you have and want. This new method is geared towards simplicity. The interface promotes little-to-no typing to create your list. Instead, it's a simple card search supplied with the ability to simply drop-and-click the desired amount of a card you want to add to your lists. On top of this, with the cards you add to your lists, the system will automatically discover members that will be most eligible to trade with you.

1. Register and Log In

   All the cool functionality is only available to our members! Click here to sign up for free!It's pretty simple, just add your user account information along with the address of where you want other users to ship your cards to. From there, simply click "Register" and then log in.

2. Add Cards

   Once you have registered and logged in, the next step is to add cards to your Have list and your Want list. The easiest way to do so is from the card search (located on the top right of the website). You can search by a specific card name or by set. For the sake of the example, do a search for "Shards of Alara" and click "Go". This will bring you all the cards in the set.

   From here, adding cards is simple. On the left hand side of the results, you will notice the column labeled "Your Inventory". This is where the magic happens. Simply click on one of the drop downs beside a card you are interested in. From there, you can dynamically add it to either your Have list or your Want list (or both). Congratulations, you are now building your lists!

3. Find Trades

   So you have your lists configured to how you want them. Excellent! If you choose to, from here you can link them to any forums you are a part of to flaunt your easy-to-use lists. Oryou can give our internal trade system a try! We have developed a method that will compare your Have and Want lists with others member's lists within the Tradepost. We call this matching, for obvious reasons. You are able to see who will most likely be the most successfull trade depending on your cards. It also ensures efficiency within the trade. To find trades, click on "My Tradepost" located in the header menu. You will see your user panel on the left hand side. Click on "Matches" in that menu. This list displays which members will most likely be a good trade prospect.

4. Initiate a Trade

   Once you find another member you want to trade with, click "Initiate Trade", located to the right of their member name. You will be forwarded to the "Initiate Trade" page, where you will be able to compare eachothers lists with one another and edit the quanitity of cards you want to trade. If you feel you want to continue, click the "Initiate Trade" trade button at the bottom of the page.

5. Trade Progress and Completion

   You are now in middle of a trade. From here, you and the member you are trading with can continue to revise the trade amounts until both parties are satisfied with the contents. Once both parties confirm the lists, the trade goes onto shipping and feedback. You are both able to converse with eachother in the trade to make proper arrangements.

6. Leave Feedback

   Once both you and the member you are trading with have received eachother's cards, you may leave feedback. You can choose to leave Negative, Neutral or Positive along with a message that reflects the trade. Once both members have left feedback, the trade will close and the feedback will reflect on their score.
